Scope of Practice

The practice of massage therapy is the assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfynction and pain of the soft tissue and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or relieve pain. (Massage Therapy Act, 1991)

Massage Therapy Can Effectively Treat:

  • carpal tunnel and other compression syndromes
  • muscle aches and pains
  • postural imbalances
  • stress
  • edema (swelling)
  • frozen shoulder
  • tension headaches
  • temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ)
  • constipation

30 minute treatment $50
45 minute treatment $65
60 minute treatment $80
90 minute treatment $110

As a regulated health professional I cannot offer discounts, packages or incentives.  However, if you are unable to pay the above quoted prices due to financial considerations, a mutually agreed upon alteration to the price can be reached.
